	July 5		Polk County Invitation to attend Saluda Coon
			Dog Day Parade by Margaret Johnson, Polk County Chair. Line up on Main Street, Saluda, across from the elementary school around 10:15; the parade begins at 11 am. Join Senator Kay Hagen and other Democrats in the parade! Show your support for Senator Hagen.

	July 19, 8am - 2pm		HCDP Yard Sale - tired of clutter, sell your 'stuff'!
			Bring the 'stuff' to the office labeled with your name for credit and volunteer your time too. Call the office at 692-6424 to help Karl and bring the clutter on Saturday at 8 am or during weekday office hours. Sale will be in the adjacent parking lot. Bring an umbrella or a sun hat to wear.

	Aug 9, 5pm		Paul Goebel BBQ Fundraiser Catered Supper
			and Entertainment @ Joe Youngblood's beautiful Innisfree Farms, $30 at the door, rsvp by August 1 to goebelfornchp117@gmail.com. Directions 191 toward Mills River, 1st stoplight past West Henderson High School, right on N. Rugby Road, go 1.5 miles on the left. No sign so watch for the balloons. This is a beautiful location for a BBQ!

			volunteer for a couple of hours to be a friendly face in the booth and meet other like-minded volunteers. Call 692-6424 to sign-up. Don't forget your hat, sunglasses and your big smile!
